Well here we are, day 3 of the cleanse. I think day 1 was the hardest. WHY....because I am control freak and the whole, telling me what I HAVE to eat and what I CAN'T drink, was always in the back of my mind,. Now had I been the one to say, I am going to stop drinking wine and only eat clean for 10 days, I doubt I would have been such a baby! Oh well, I am who I am. :)
Ok speaking of filling full....OMG THE F*CKING GAS from this cleanse. Yes, I am going there Umm...wtf?!?!?! I am peein like a race horse but cannot go number 2, to save my life. I am drinking a TON of water, as I do normally, but nothing. I tell you what, gas hit me at about 4:00 yesterday, AT WORK! So having to hold all that in, made me look oh....about 5 months pregnant. I had a serious pooch going on. I warned my hubby, if I fall asleep on the couch and you smell something, it's the cat! :) I woke up feeling less bloated and a bit lighter. I pray that some "movement" happens today. But watch I will be the only person to ever do the cleanse that doesn't poo!
I have kept my workout routines the same. I still feel great and energized. Speaking of energy, I got some spark. LOVE IT!!! It is so yummy. And it doesn't taste all artificial. My hubby made the mistake of trying it at about 6:30 last night. He had it after his 30-day shred. He said he was up until 3. OOPS! Note to hubby, take during the day! I am on week 4 of ripped in 30, btw. WOW, she is a real biotch in this one! She works you out for real! I was a sweaty pig last night. I am still doing one day shred, the next day ripped and so on. And I incorporate my kickboxing and tabata. Vaca starts in 3 weeks from Saturday! WOO-HOO!!!
As far as taking measurements. I chose not to do this. Well actually I forgot at first and then I got the whole bloated belly, so I said f*ck it! I am not doing this for weightloss anyway. I really just want to rid my body of all the toxins. But...if I can't go to the bathroom, ummm....yeah. I will just go by how my clothes fit come day 10.
I have date night with the hubby and friends this Saturday. I kind of dread the whole, what will I eat. We are going for Mexican. I think I will get fajitas and just eat the veggies and chicken. I will avoid the chips at all cost. We shall see how I do. But like I said before, if I fall off the wagon for a bit, I am NOT going to beat myself up. :)
Above is one of my favorite snacks so far. I took a cup of frozen peaches, some cinnamon and chopped walnuts. I zapped this in the microwave until nice and warm and it was SO FREAKING GOOD. I felt like I was having something that was really bad for me, but it wasn't. So healthy and tasty. When the cleanse is over, I will continue to make this. I will just top it with frozen vanilla Greek yogurt. :)
I hope all of you that are doing the cleanse are hanging in there. Sorry for all the TMI, I am just trying to keep it real. :)
